Amsterdam Highlights

If you haven't been in Amsterdam before and you want to learn how to navigate the city and see its most famous locations, this is a tour for you! We will go to the Dam Square, with the main buildings around it, as the New Church and the Royal Palace. We will also pay a visit to  a hidden courtyard called the Begijnhof, which is the oldest of its type and the most beautiful one in Amsterdam. Afterwards we will walk over the Canal Ring, the most stunning area -and a World Heritage site recognised by UNESCO- in Amsterdam. You will get thrilled by the nicest boutique shops of the Nine Streets, some very cute shopping streets in between the canals. During this short tour you will get to know a big deal about the history and culture of Amsterdam, which make our city so special! (suggested tour time 3 hours)

Ana was just great. Met us at the hotel, she was on time, we were on time, and off we went. We walked, rested, talked about the history, about restaurants and museums. Ana was great in guiding us and in providing helpful tips and hints. Amsterdam is VERY easy to get around in using public transportation but there were some little things that helped us even more. Ana had a great sense of humor and could not have been a better introductory guide for us and our four days in Amsterdam. I highly recommend reaching out to Tom and his people if you are going as they are very helpful, really glad to see you, and will keep you from wasting time while in Amsterdam.
My wife and I talked about our time with Ana and it didn’t feel like an introductory tour....it felt like a local friend walking us around on our first visit to the city in which they happened to live. That’s how it should be done.
