You are collected from your hotel in Amsterdam and taken on a scenic drive to the largest tulip fields in the world, where you will learn everything about our country’s signature flower. In the fields of the Kop van Noord Holland, you can take in all the striking colors, and capture the most colorful photos your friends and family will ever see. We will make sure to visit at least three different color fields with the bulb species. We advise you to take different outfits for the best pictures.
We will also try to capture some extra photos with the ancient windmills and your guide is happy to take pictures of you with it
On our drive back to Amsterdam, we will drive through land reclaimed from the sea long ago, so-called ‘polders’ and the world-famous De Beemster Polder, a UNESCO world heritage site due to its water management. The map of New Amsterdam, later New York, was based on the straight lines of De Beemster!
